The biggest surprise
The surprising gold medal by Keshorn Walcott from Trinidad and Tobago. The nineteen year old surprised the Europeans by becoming the first none-European Olympic javelin throwing Olympic champion in like 60 years! Walcott threw a national record 84.58m to claim the Olympic gold medal in the men's javelin.
The sensation
Bahamas wrote history by winning the 4 X 400 meter relay gold in men’s athletics. The USA had win the title 16 times in a row but was defeated in London by these four from the Bahamas.
The youth!
Kerani James fullfilled the expectation by winning the Olympic Gold medal after becoming World Champion in 400 meter men Athletics, the first Olympic medal for Grenada! Like the Trinidadian champion Walcott he's only nineteen years old.
Boxing Cubans
Roniel Iglesias from Cuba became Olympic Boxing Champion in the Men Light Welterweight.
Robeisy Ramirez Carrazana got the Olympic Boxing title in the Men Flyweight category.
